2010 ITSA North American Championships

The 2010 series is upon us. The first two rounds of the six round championship will be April 10th and 11^th at B&J’s Ranch in Dickson, Tn.

Your best four rides will count toward the overall championship. A champion will be crowned in all of ITSA’s classes.

2010 Metrolina Winter Series

Kicks off on January the 10th at Coyote Creek in Monroe North Carolina. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome them as an ITSA chartered organization. Round 2 of their Winter Series will be held on February the 14th. The final 2 rounds are on March the 13th and 14th. These rounds will also pay points for Rounds 2 and 3 of the 2010 ITSA South East Regional Series.

Clubman :

A Clubman class has been added for the 2010 season, for riders of expert ability level who do not wish to ride the harder "A" expert sections. The Clubman class will ride the sections designated for intermediate skill level. Any machine is eligible for this class. Championship points will be paid.

So, what's different about ITSA's North American Championship?

First:

It's a riders championship set up to determine the best rider in each division.

Second:

Riders mechanical skills are put to the test as most have built and prepared their machines themselves.

Third:

Six rounds in the form of 3, 2 day events comprise the entire series. Your five best finishes, of the six rounds, count. Holding the series in this manner makes it a more achievable goal for a greater number of riders.

Fourth:

The ITSA champions are selected totally on the riders ability. There are not free points given for any work or other non-competition activity.

Fifth:

All ITSA events are based on a family fun atmosphere. Camping, campfire, bring your instruments and play with the others who do, share ideas on bikes and have a true competition on top of all that.

Sixth:

ITSA is an association of trial riders that is run by trial riders with trials as its only focus.
